Serving Neighbors One Box at a Time
Angel Food Ministries’ mission is to help relieve hunger throughout the United States.
Angel Food Ministries, a non-profit, non-denominational organization, began in 1994 as a small outreach ministry serving a rural community in Georgia. The goal was to help neighbors who needed a hand up in a tough economic time. Today, Angel Food Ministries can be found in over 3,200 communities in 35 states and helps feed over 500,000 families a month.

Angel Food partners with churches and community organizations throughout the country to help distribute food to those in need. For $30.00* you can receive a box of food containing both fresh and frozen items. Our food items are top quality – we buy our food from major food producers throughout the country to ensure the best food comes to your table.

If you know someone who needs help, or if you’re just looking for a way to save a little money, you might consider becoming involved in Angel Food. If you haven’t already heard, Angel Food is a non-profit program brought to the Olive Branch area by First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  For $30.00, anyone can purchase approximately $60.00 to $70.00 worth of groceries each month to be shipped directly from the manufactrers to Mississippi on refrigerated trucks for same-day distribution. There are no applications, no financial qualifications, and no limits on quantities purchased. This is not government subsidized food. The food is purchased on the open market in huge quantities, the local church provides the facilities and much of the labor, and the savings are passed on to the consumer.

Orders must be placed and prepaid by cash, money order, or food stamps.  Participants must have their receipt with them on distribution day to pick up their food. Food that is not picked up by the specified time stated on the receipt will be given to families in need and cannot be refunded.
