Letter from the Pastor...

When I became the Senior Pastor at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Olive Branch, I discovered something wonderful--a congregation of some of the warmest, most welcoming people that I have ever had the opportunity to serve.

And I'm not alone! I have learned that this is the experience of most everyone at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Whether a long time member or brand new member, they tell me this is a church where everyone feels welcomed and included.

It just proves what I have concluded for some time now--that many people are not as concerned about the label outside the church door as they are about the experience with God and God's people they have when they come inside. As Cumberland Presbyterians, we have a solid Biblical foundation and a long heritage, but many outside the Presbyterian faith have found this is the church where they want to be.

So if you are looking for a Biblically-based church where you can serve the Lord and be treated like an old friend, come check out what is happening at FCPCOB. I think you will be happy that you did.
