In our Sunday morning worship service, you will hear the Gospel, praise God through song, and spend precious time in prayer. In our Sunday evening service, you will enjoy a variety of activities including Family Fun Night, special worship and music services, and special speakers, discussions, or studies with an emphasis on learning and growing in our faith and knowledge of Christ. Wednesday nights are set aside especially for Bible study. There are countless opportunities at First Cumberland to worship and praise God, gain knowledge of the Bible, and find love and support. Opportunities for Fellowship
We need the preaching and teaching from God's Word, the atmosphere of worship and praise, the encouragement and support we draw from fellow Christians, the opportunities for Christian service, and we need the opportunity to practice love toward other Christians.
Hebrews 10:24,25 NIV ...and let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Type of Ministry | Ministry | Description | Men's Ministry | Men's Fellowship | The Men's Fellowship meet the second Saturday of every month at 8:30 am to offer their help to those in need (after a whopping breakfast to get their strength). Recent projects included painting, mowing, cleaning and repair. | Women's Ministry | Cumberland Presbyterian Women Day Circle and Nitelighters | The purpose of the CPW is to accept and share the love and joy of Jesus Christ through the ministry of women in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church as they pray, study God's Word, and reach out through mission, service, encouragement, and fellowship. The Day Circle meets at the church the second Tuesday of every month at 10:30 am.
The Nitelighters meet in members' homes the second Monday of every month at 7:00 pm. | | Quilters | Have a passion for quilting? Can't sew, but would love to learn? Join the Quilters at the church every Tuesday at 9:00 am. | Youth Ministry | Youth Council | The FCPC Youth experience God in an extreme 3rd Degree way! Join the group on outings to Laser Tag, playing softball and miniature golf, throwing pizza parties, and much, much more. | Children's Ministry | Easter Egg Hunt, VBS, Cumberland Forest, Trunk or Treat, Valentine Carousel | Children at First Cumberland travel to far away places to meet Jesus and never leave the church! Join them as they visit the Live Nativity, venture through snow-covered twinkling trees to cabins made of candy and workshops full of busy little elves to find Santa in the Cumberland Forest, and as they get fired up playing Grande Games and creating Cactus Crafts at a Fiesta in Mexico. |
